Mochalicious Protein Shake

We are being hit with another Snowmageddon in the Midwest region and I thought, I need a special coffee kick to get my day start Mochastarted. These days are amazing for one of two things: 1.) lazy sofa day filled with movies and hot chocolate 2.) clean and organize everything!

This recipe will help you get through both days with enough energy!

1 cup coconut milk, soy milk, almond milk, cream or plain milk
1-2 scoops of high quality, cold-pressed vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon coconut oil, melt the coconut oil to ensure it blends
2 tablespoons instant coffee crystals (if you do not have instant coffee, use 3/4 cup of strongly brewed and cooled coffee with 1/4 cup of milk and leave out the first ingredient)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
1 tablespoon sweetener (I use stevia but this is not necessary)
1 pinch sea salt

By freezing the yogurt in an ice-cube tray over night, you are not diluting the drink. This is a great trick to keep your drink cold and thick.

Combine the ingredients together in a blender and blend until smooth.

This serves 2 or 1 very hungry person.
