Tagliarini sounds like a complicated dish but it is just egg noodles cut in the same fashion as fettuccine. If you can’t find it in your grocery store, feel free to use linguini, angel hair pasta or spaghetti.
1lb ground beef, chicken or pork
1lb of fresh tagliarini pasta or packaged pasta, cooked (if you are a low-carber use zucchini pasta)
1 onion, diced
5 garlic cloves, minced
10 roma tomatoes, diced (or 1 30 ounce can of diced tomatoes)
10 basil leaves, roughly chopped
1 8 ounce package of mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 large can of black olives, sliced
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Cook the ground beef until it has browned, then drain.
Add the garlic and onion and lower the heat and cook until they are translucent.
Add the tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, mushrooms and allow it to cook for 5 minutes.
Add the black olives and stir.
Toss with the cooked pasta and serve with Parmesan cheese.
